Two- and three-component alloys nanowires: correlation of structural and magnetic properties

Several types of nanowires (NWs) made alloys various compositions obtained by the method matrix synthesis based on track membranes have been studied. Electrolytes were selected to obtain NWs desired composition. The control electrodeposition chronoamperograms it possible systematically change geometric parameters and morphology. topographies resulting NW arrays their elemental composition studied using electron microscopy with an X-ray spectral analyzer. magnetic properties samples a vibrating magnetometer. structures binary studied: for FeCo alloys, dependence coercive force was has two maxima --- at equiatomic cobalt content about 90%. For Fe 0.3 Co 0.7 NWs, sharp increase in decreasing diameter is shown. It assumed that this effect due formation single-domain crystallites, processes magnetization reversal which are associated uniform rotation magnetization. FeNi influence aspect ratio proved. Ternary FeCoCu system shown addition copper significantly increases force, reaches maximum 5%. data suggest fine-grained inclusions copper, lead effective deceleration domain walls. expand range possibilities controlling synthesis.
